Spring Thoughts

The calendar shows it's the end of April, but the temperatures around these parts lately seem to disagree. So much so, we even had snowflakes on Good Friday. Back in November, we would have said they were the big, pretty kind.

Now in April, after a long, cold winter ... not so much. The buds are all swelling and ready to bloom. We just need a week of temperatures above 55 degrees to kick start spring.

Last week we enjoyed spring-like temperatures in Virginia. It was a nice reminder that warm weather does exist. The vacation came complete with an early Easter Egg hunt...

And not so cleverly hidden...

There was lots of searching... And fun was had by all.
