Welcome to my summer hangout spot

Welcome to summer! I know that I’m ready for it. And here's a glimpse at where I park it on any given weekend in the summer.

I’ve been deprived of the sun for nearly 7 months. The past two days I’ve been thriving on it. I’ll admit it … I’m totally addicted to basking in the sun. Come June, I’ve plopped my body on a chase lounge poolside. My weekends are totally devoted to the pool. There’s really nothing I find more relaxing.

This summer, I hope everyone finds their favorite relaxing place in the sun and enjoys it!

I shoulda listened to Dad...

Growing up, my Dad frequently told me and my sister that one of us should be an electrician, the other a plumber. If I wasn't convinced before that he was right - today I am.

We had a clogged bathroom drain (beyond Chris' plumbing expertise). The plumber came, was here for 20 minutes, and the bill was $64.00. That's some pretty good money for 20 minutes of work and letting a machine unplug the drain!

Antiques Roadshow

My latest antique purchase from yesterday - Mom and I went to a household sale. Mom's idea of "the perfect day" would be hitting 25 household sales...she enjoys sales like I enjoy surfing on eBay.
